Sod

Sod:Sod is grass that has been cut into small pieces and used to cover a lawn or other area of land. It is usually sold in rolls or squares that are about 2 feet (0.61 meters) wide and 4 feet (1.22 meters) long. Sod can also be used to repair damaged areas of lawns or to establish new lawns in bare areas.
