Allstate pest control have been inspecting termite bates since installing the traps about 2 years now. Service every 2 months by a staff member ,and all staff have been quick and clean checking all bates. A report is emailed after for your own record. All staff are exceptionally friendly and pleasant

I had a devastating problem with bull and inch ants. The APC came and treated the main areas and within hours the ant population was much reduced and has ceased to bother. They treated around the perimeter of the house as well as the obvious nest areas. A follow up treatment showed little activity but each area was treated again so expectations are no further ant activity causing distress. Thank You sincerely Allstate Pest Control.

All State was so responsive when I messaged them on a Sunday for rodent issues. They made a next day appointment as I was quite distressed. The staff that came out were so polite, respectful and informative. I received follow up by phone and have had 2 subsequent follow ups. I also had the Creep Crawly Spray treatment. Very professional and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend.

I had Jack from All State come to my home to do full termite inspection. He did a thorough inspection and was polite and friendly. Fortunately he did not find evidence of termite damage in my house but did find evidence of damage around the perimeter on wooden fence posts and made recommendations for preventative measures. He wrote out a detailed report with images and went through it after the inspection. I was happy with his service.

We had someone come out today to treat a tree stump after the tree split and fell just before Christmas. The guy doing the job was amazing. He was happy for my 11 year old son who has Autism and a language disability watch and learn how to treat the stump. My son was talking his ear off and asking lots of questions and he was so patient with him and happily took the time and answered. he had a friendly attitude and I absolutely love the fact this person took the time to teach him. It absolutely made my sons day...It was lovely to see him happily interact with my son and teach his job to a young person that was wanting to learn.

What a great company! We had long term possum problems. We tried other pest control companies, and while well meaning they were not up to the job. Allstate were different. We got a comprehensive quote clearly explained. They went the extra mile! A professional and friendly team. They proofed our roof and when one stubborn possum returned Allstate were back in a flash. They put cameras in the ceiling and stayed close until the problem was truly fixed. Cannot recommend Allstate highly enough.

I emailed Allstate late one Saturday evening after a nasty encounter with a black spider and her babies!!! and they got back to me first thing on Monday and were at my home by Monday afternoon! They sprayed our home for spiders etc which was approx 4 weeks ago and I can honestly say I have not seen one since. It is like a force field has been put up around the house!!! Even flies drop dead at the back door and no longer come inside…I had no idea pest control could be so effective and give such piece of mind. After 2 weeks of failing to deter our nighttime visitor, who was entering the premises through our doggy door and yes this was one of the non- negotiables that it had to remain open during the night, Allstate Pest Control responded with “No problem!” Kyle was knowledgeable, thorough in his inspection of the property and house and offered pet friendly safe solutions. It’s only been 3 days since Allstate left, but we haven’t had any evidence of our visitor since even though we were was told it could take up to 2 weeks! I chose Allstate because they removed 2 wasp nests quickly and effectively last summer so they were my first choice in rodent removal!

How Allstate possum removal works

Our approach starts with a thorough assessment and proposal to identify all possible ways the possum has entered your roof, so we can decide on the best course of action. The removal process usually looks like:

Our licensed trained technicians install proofing materials to all entry points to prevent possums entering or leaving the roof.
We place a cage trap in the main entry point being used by the possums, and check it daily.
Once the possum has entered the cage, we keep it calm while we proof the remainder of the roof and install a nesting box in the most ideal tree within 50 metres of where it was captured.
We release the possum into its new home in the nesting box.

Frequently Asked Questions about possums

How do I know if I have a possum in my roof?

Possums are nocturnal animals, so you will likely hear them moving around your roof overnight. If you can hear scurrying or scratching in your roof, this is usually rats and mice. If you hear loud, thumping sounds then it’s likely you’re dealing with possums.

If you’re not sure, get us out to have a look and we will be able to determine what the problem is by the size of the entry points into your roof.

Why do possums shelter in roofs?

Possums usually nest in tree hollows for shelter, warmth and to stay out of sight of predators. As trees become sparser in urban environments, possums see roofs as an ideal alternative.

How do I keep possums out of my roof?

There are a few steps you can take to limit the chances of possums in nesting in your roof:

Remove any overhanging branches and foliage that make it easy for them to gain access
Maintain your roofing and tiles, and check for gaps regularly (particularly after windy or stormy weather)
If you don’t have any available tree hollows in your back yard, install a nesting box to encourage possums to stay out of your roof
