Drinking Water State Revolving Fund:The Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) is a federal program that provides loans to states for drinking water infrastructure projects. The DWSRF was created by the Safe Drinking Water Act Amendments of 1996 and is administered by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The DWSRF helps states finance drinking water infrastructure improvements, including upgrades to treatment plants and distribution systems, storage facilities, and wells.
