Welcome back for another episode of On the Road with Kiki, where we follow pest consultant Kristian around Adelaide as he visits homes and businesses to inspect pest problems.

Kicking off the day at a home in Port Noarlunga with a possum assessment, Kristian immediately spots multiple gaps in the roof providing entry points. While owner says that they hear tapping sounds in the roof, there’s more evidence of rats rather than possums when Kristian climbs up into the roof space. He suggests a rodent baiting system using lockable stations to keep out possums and recommends a gutter guard to deter the possums.

Next, Kristian heads to an Allstate termite customer’s house to look at some pesky possums in their shed. He discovers that they’re gaining entry through the box gutters and living under the insulation. He leaves the client with a quote to proof the entry points and install a one-way door.

Then it’s over to Hazelwood Park to assess termites. While there’s no obvious damage to the property, there is evidence of flying termites, or alates. Kristian recommends reactivating the existing termite protection system that has already been partially installed around the home.

The next client has a problem with biting insects affecting her pets and herself. It’s either ticks or fleas and since her dog has had tick bites before, Kristian sends the client a quote for a full treatment of the garden space, grass and inside the house.

The last job of the day is a quote for a Sentricon Always Active termite baiting system installation at a home. Although there are no clear cut signs of active termites today, Kristian offers the client a quote for a full termite inspection just in case, in addition to the Sentricon system installation quote.

Take care and brush your hair! Welcome back for another instalment of On the Road with Kiki, where we accompany pest consultant Kristian as he travels around Adelaide to inspect pest outbreaks in homes and businesses.

Today, Kristian starts off with a rodent inspection in a roof cavity of a home. There is evidence of rodent droppings and the owner also says that they can hear scratching, scurrying and munching sounds at night. Kristian confirms that rodents are indeed the problem, and he provides a quote for a baiting system, which the owner accepts, so the technicians will be back next week for an installation.

Up next, Kristian heads into the city centre for a follow-up assessment at an existing client’s restaurant. They’re clearly happy with our work as Allstate has already provided pest management services at their other 2 restaurants. He leaves them with a quote for this restaurant which they accept.

Then, it’s off to another previous Allstate client’s home, where they’ve completed some renovations. While there’s already a termite baiting system installed at the property, it’s time to add some more baiting stations to extend the termite protection and cover the newer section. Kristian offers the owner a quote for the job.

It’s termites yet again at the next client’s home. This time, there is clear evidence of active termites and a mud lead found in a wall. Kristian recommends a baiting system to protect the property. He leaves the client with a quote which they’ll think about over the weekend.

Then it’s more termites to finish off the day, where a client has purchased a property and looking for termite protection. Though he finds no evidence of active termites during his assessment, Kristian recommends a full inspection and either a liquid treatment or baiting system to protect the home.

Welcome back for our latest episode of On the Road with Kiki, starring none other than our fabulous pest consultant, Kristian! In this series, Kristian takes us around to homes and businesses around Adelaide to inspect for pest outbreaks.

Kristian’s first client is in Campbelltown, and they’re wanting to know how to protect the home from termites. The client was interested in a liquid spray being applied under the pavers adjoining the house. Kristian also recommended a baiting system. He ends up sending them two quotes for them to consider over the weekend.

The next customer is an existing client in Morphette Vale, who is currently renovating his house. Since he’s pulled up all the concrete pavers and poured down a new path, Kristian recommends protecting it with Kordon. The client requests that the Kordon be installed 100mm above the damp course to cover the damp course and brick work, which shouldn’t be a problem. For the inside of the house, Kristian suggests a subfloor spray and internal drill. Kristian arranges to send one of the construction consultants over for a more detailed quote.

It’s a long drive next to Tatachilla, where a client has termites that have damaged a wall in the granny flat. Kristian suggests that urgent treatment is needed, and since the client is keen to go ahead straight away, he books them in to have a technician come around next week.

The last client of the day is an existing Allstate client who has just opened a new café. However, with a cockroach outbreak, they’re very much in need of a commercial pest management plan. This involves monthly visits to monitor for pests including cockroaches, spiders and rodents. The client seems quite happy with Kristian’s recommendations and quote, so they up on the spot.

Happy Friday! It’s time for another episode of On the Road with Kiki. In this series, we follow pest consultant Kristian as he visits homes and businesses around Adelaide to assess pest outbreaks. Today, it’s all about terrible termites causing chaos yet again.

Starting off in Blackwood, Kristian visits a property that has already had a termite treatment in the past. Unfortunately, an inspection of two tree stumps in the yard reveals active termites. With another pile of wood in the yard, Kristian believes that there is a high risk of active termites entering inside, so he recommends a liquid treatment around the edge of the house and installing a baiting system.

The next client has just recently purchased a home in Mount Barker and they are keen to safeguard it from termite damage. After inspecting the property, Kristian suggests getting a baiting system and regular termite inspections to make sure that their new home stays protected.

After a road trip to Teal Flat along the Murray River to get to his last client, Kristian straight away notices that there are termite mud tubes along the exposed wooden frame of the home downstairs. Luckily, he’s unable to find active termites. However, it’s always better to be cautious given that there are big trees and large amounts of moisture in the area. So, he leaves the client a quote for a termite baiting system.

Welcome back to another episode of On the Road with Kiki, featuring pest consultant Kristian. In this series, Kristian takes us around to Adelaide homes and businesses and gives a glimpse of how he tackles pest outbreaks.

Today, Kristian’s first client lives in Alberton, and they’re already an Allstate client. They recently built an extension and wanted to make sure that it was protected from pesky termites. While better access is needed to properly assess some bait stations, it’s clear that some stations are missing. Kristian gives them a quote for replacement bait stations to be on the safe side.

Then, it’s off to another property where there are termites in a tree stump. Kristian immediately notices mud tubes on the tree stump as well as the fence, so it’s very clear that there are termites nearby. In fact, the fence itself is leaning because of the termites damaging the timber. Kristian explains to the client that a spray treatment will kill the active termites, and a baiting system will kill the nest. He leaves them with two quotes to protect their house as well as the granny flat.

Next up, Kristian heads to the Adelaide Hills to catch up with pest technician Hossein. He knows pests inside and out through his studies in entomology in Iran, and ran his own pest control company there for 16 years. Providing excellent customer service comes naturally to Hossein, because he considers every situation from the client’s point of view when approaching his work. This is most definitely a quality that we value at Allstate!

For his final job of the day, it’s yet another home with active termites in a tree stump. Kristian measures up the property so that he can send a quote for a baiting system to the owner.
