On the road with Kiki – Episode 9
Welcome to another episode of On The Road with Kiki, where we join pest consultant Kristian as he inspects pest outbreaks in homes and businesses all around Adelaide.
Today looks set to be mostly about termites. Kristian begins the day in a Morphett Vale and visits a home with active termites in wooden sleepers and tree trunks. He gives a quote for some liquid treatment and to reactivate an incorrectly installed termite baiting system by a competitor.
From here, Kristian heads over to his next job, which is also a termite assessment. However, this is a larger property with a large woodpile and plenty of trees – the perfect breeding ground for termites.
It’s 3 termite jobs in a row today for Kristian as he visits another home with termites, but this time in a verandah post. He recommends a thorough inspection of the whole house and installing a baiting system.
Finally, the last client in Seacliff has a pest bird outbreak in the roof and around the solar panels, most likely caused by pigeons. Due to the extent of the problem, Kristian recommends technicians assessing the outbreak first to provide a more accurate quote for proofing the home.
